Stimulus Package Includes Major HVAC Tax Credit

On December 17, 2010, President Obama signed into law "Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010." This act amended and extended tax credits for high efficiency heating and cooling products.The new credits are available for qualifying products that are "placed in service" between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2011.

The new law changes the HVAC tax credit efficiency requirements for Heating or Air Conditioning Systems. Financing options are available for qualified buyers.
